Jessica

Jessica Hastings-Lesperance grew up locally on the Bruce Peninsula. She attended Conestoga College for two years after completing high school. She then continued her education at Wilfrid Laurier University for four and a half years, where she achieved her Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Geography degree. Jessica continued her schooling after university to obtain her teaching certificate levels one and two through Georgian College.
 
Jessica is married to Adam Lesperance, Broker and co-owner of the Terri Hastings Real Estate Team/Keller Williams Realty Centres. They have three children together, Kolby, Arkelle, and Nash. Jessica and Adam were co-owners of their own successful business, Lamblicious, located in Park Head, for six and a half years before they sold it in 2019. They also sold their successful tree removal business, Woody’s Arborist and Yard Services, in 2020, which Adam had established thirteen years earlier. They also co-owned the Wiarton Fitness Centre located in downtown Wiarton until mid-2020.

Jessica is now a realtor and co-owner of the Terri Hastings Real Estate Team. In addition to her thriving real estate career, Jessica has written multiple books, all of which have been Amazon bestsellers. She was also named Fitness Professional of the Year by CanFitPro in 2024, an award she was deeply honoured to receive. Jessica was a finalist for the CanFitPro Sharon Mann Inspiration Award in 2024 and was awarded Canada’s Top Fitness Instructor in 2023 by IMPACT Magazine.
 
Jessica is passionate about community support and giving back. She has organized many initiatives and fundraisers to support local programs. Additionally, she has partnered with the DoTERRA Helping Hands Program to provide essential items to those in need.
 
Jessica is a fitness enthusiast and is a certified Fitness Instructor Specialist with CanFitPro, a certified instructor for Pound Rockout Workout and a Spin instructor, as well as Yoga 500-CYT. Further, she is a Reiki Practitioner and is certified in Head and Body Relaxation Massage. Jessica is a health and fitness advocate, as well as an advocate for mental health. She has participated in many mental health workshops, as well as leading workshops herself on youth mental health. One of Jessica’s favorite quotes is: “Don’t let the behaviour of others destroy your inner peace” -The Dalai Lama.
 
Jessica has completed the Warrior Training with YogaFit, which entails instructing yoga practice with an in-depth understanding of PTSD, anxiety, depression, the vagus nerve, mood and balancing, training the parasympathetic nervous system, emotional and physical trauma, addiction and recovery, and warrior kids. Jessica states: “There is something about the vagus nerve, the amygdala, and the hippocampus that excites me! It’s science, and I’ve always loved science.” As a DoTERRA wellness advocate, she incorporates aromatherapy into her yoga classes, massages, and reiki as well. Jessica incorporates elements of trauma-sensitive yoga and yoga therapy in all of her classes. She is also a member of the Pelvic Health Professionals.
 
Jessica is certified in adult, child, and infant CPR, and automatic external defibrillation, which she maintains annually. Outside the studio, Jessica keeps busy chasing around her three children and enjoying their fifty acres of cedar bush and trails on their property.
Adam Lesperance

Adam

Born in Wiarton, Ontario, Adam Lesperance has lived, worked, and farmed in Bruce County his entire life. Adam grew up on his family’s maple/dairy/beef farm in Park Head and attended Hepworth Central Public School, where all three of his children, Kolby, Arkelle, and Nash, now attend.
 
After various management jobs with the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Parks, and private tree care services in the area, Adam started Woody’s Arborist and Yard Services in 2007. Beginning with just himself, a truck, and a chainsaw, Adam grew Woody’s into a full-service tree care operation including 3 trucks, a 12” chipper, a 56’ towable man lift, another full-time climbing arborist, and additional staff during the busy spring, summer, and fall seasons. Adam successfully sold this business in late 2019.
 
Adam also co-owned the Wiarton Fitness Centre with his wife, Jessica. Taking a special interest in fitness, Adam challenged himself to adopt a more positive outlook and became a certified Personal Trainer with Canfitpro.
 
Today, Adam keeps busy as the co-owner and broker of the award-winning Terri Hastings Real Estate Group, Keller Williams Realty Centres, where he leads a dynamic team dedicated to exceptional client service and success.

 

Reanna

Meet our Studio Ambassador: 
Reanna Alexander, 28

Reanna has lived on the Bruce Peninsula since 2003 on a poultry farm. Graduating high school in 2012, she was awarded the entrepreneurship award. She then attended Conestoga College and completed the Office Administration certificate program in 2015.  

From 2006 to 2012 you could find Reanna at the arena as a member of the Wiarton Figure Skating Club. Her skating is graceful and beautiful. She participated in many skating competitions, often placing. Reanna practices yoga in her spare time. She has always had an interest in movement and health. 

Reanna attended her first fitness class with Instructor Jess in October of 2019. 

“I remember my first spin class fondly. It was a pivotal moment in my life, and all it took was attending that first class and meeting instructor Jess to empower me to regularly attend spin, yoga, meditation, and pound classes. I truly connected with, and am inspired by, Jess’s guidance and the values she establishes in the studio. My experience attending her classes jumpstarted my personal wellness and fitness journey.” -Reanna 

Reanna is an advocate for mental health and believes in the importance of discussing mental health. She is open about her personal mental health journey and the positive impact fitness has had in her growth. She is eager and passionate to encourage others in their fitness journey while sharing her own experiences. She brings a unique perspective and positive spirit to Cedar Wellness Studio.  

Reanna takes on various roles at Cedar Wellness Studio. In 2021, Reanna was honoured to become a Cedar Wellness Studio ambassador! She also runs the Cedar Wellness Studio social media page. Her involvement in our many community endeavours and fundraisers is impactful. She is an active contributor to Cedar Wellness Studio.
